Dear Friends,

I hope this letter finds each and everyone of you full of peace, health and joy in the continued difficulties we are experiencing! Negativity has surely touched the lives of all of us in one way or another, but I want to continue encouraging you to cling to Holy Spirit like never before and lay all your fears, doubts and frustrations at His feet! Serve Him. Worship Him. Commune with Him. As a result, your life will blossom in the midst of the desert!

Increased Child Exploitation

Police forces across the world are warning that criminals and pedophiles are using the coronavirus lockdown to target children. Data gathered by the BBC reveals demand for abuse imagery has shot up.

Reports of obscene online material more than doubled globally to more than four million between March and April. Sadly enough, those of us with orphanages, can attest to this data for we’ve all seen a huge increase in the need to house abandoned and abused children. I have needed to turn down most of the calls because of lack of space, too old or not sexually exploited. Recently however, I received a call from the government about 2 sisters and their baby brother. The oldest of just 5 years was being violated by her father, so all 3 little ones were taken immediately out of the home. A few weeks of even more trauma followed and then I was called and I could not say no to them! My excellent helper had to return to Canada, but the Lord has provided and will continue to do so.

New Blessings:

A sibling group recently joined us. The oldest girl, age 5, was being exploited in her family, so all of the children were removed from their home and placed with us. The two girls and baby boy are settling in, while receiving help from their trauma.
